Legal Consultations

Consultations are $475 / hour.  I routinely meet with clients one or more times to provide legal advice, second opinions, and document-review.  I also offer pro-se assistance for low-income individuals (those who earn less than $40,000 / year).  This typically involves assistance filling out the statewide self-help forms, ongoing advice, and sometimes trial preparation assistance.   My rate is $475 for the initial consultation and then $250/hour thereafter for ongoing help with me or my paralegal.

Divorce Representation

Usually these are complex, difficult cases which may involve temporary motions, multiple court appearances, spousal support, relocation issues, contested custody, and/or complex assets that need to be divided.   My rate is $475 / hour and paralegal services are $175/hour.  All trial preparation and court appearances are billed at $650/hour.  The retainer is $15,000.  All outside experts bill at their own rates and clients are responsible for the costs of any necessary and agreed-upon experts.   This is a traditional litigation-approach to your case.

Fixed-Price Packages

Pre & Post-Nuptials

Pre-and post-nuptials vary in complexity.  My rate is $475/hour.  The price generally ranges between $5,000-$10,000.  I also represent clients who need to have an attorney review and certify a pre or post-nuptial that another attorney drafted.

Mediation Services

I offer mediation services to pro-se parties.  Each mediation session is for two-hours maximum and my rate is $475/hour. Sometimes cases do resolve in the first session, but other times multiple mediation sessions are necessary.  If both parties agree, I will also draft your final judgment if mediation is successful and a complete agreement is reached.
